April 18. 1868 - Schooner GENERAL SIGEL, ashore on reef off Port Colborne, Lake Erie; got off and on passage up got ashore on reef at lower end of Bois Blanc Island, Detroit River; lightered off and towed to Detroit: Expenses and damages to hull $1,000; damage to cargo $600.
