The schr. NEW DOMINION, from Parry Sound, laden with lumber, bound for Sarnia, sprung a leak out in the lake on Tuesday (9/18) and ran into Owen Sound on Wednesday. The captain reports having pumped her out Tuesday morning. At that time there was only 3 inches of water in her. Three hours afterward she had leaked 6 ft. of water. She is now on the drydock undergoing repairs.
