Full Text

Marine City, June 23 - Good work on the part of the crew of the stmr. MARTIN saved that boat from being destroyed by fire last night. The blaze was caused by an explosion of a lamp, and had gained considerable headway before it was discovered. The crew were called to quarters and as the hose was connected and everything ready, the blaze was put out with a small loss.
