Schooner ALPHA, of 270 tons. Valued at $7,000. Class B 1. Port of hail, St. Catharines. Bound from Oswego to Hamilton with a cargo of coal, dragged ashore at Presque Isle Harbour, Lake Ontario, October 17, 1870. Damage to hull $263; damage to cargo $237.
