Schooner BISMARK, 8 years old and 302 tons, belonging to the port of Kingston, came in collision with the steamship PERSIA, August 12, 1879 near Presque Isle, Lake Ontario. She was bound from Garden Island to Toledo when an error of judgment caused the partial casualty. Loss $300.
