SCHOONER WRECKED - Word came by telegraph on Friday, that the schooner CATARAQUI, Captain N. B. Whitby, was sunk off Presque Isle during the gale on Friday night. The vessel belonged to Kingston and is insured.

      Schooner CATARAQUI, of 224 tons. Home port, Kingston. Owned by W. Anglin. When bound from Hamilton, Ont., to Oswego, N. Y. foundered in a gale on Lake Ontario. Total loss, September 1864. Loss to ship $6,000; loss to cargo $8,000. Insurance on hull, $4,000; insurance on cargo $6,000. No lives lost.
