COLLISIONS FROM CARELESS ANCHORING. - In consequence of a number of vessels anchoring in the St. Clair Rapids, a few nights since, a wholesale collision took place. It seems that the propeller HACKETT ran into the schooners YOUNG AMERICA and QUEEN OF THE LAKES, damaging them both severely. The scow MAID OF THE MIST, which was also anchored in an exposed situation, was run into by the bark J.G. MASTEN and sunk. The weather was smoky at the time.
