Amherstburg, Oct. 6 - The stmr. SWALLOW and consort DACOTAH were caught out in Thursdays furious gale on Lake Erie. The tow line parted and the boats separated. The SWALLOW arrived here in a sinking condition. The DACOTAH has not yet been heard from. The boats separated between Green Island and the Middle Sister Island. There is much anxiety regarding the DACOTAH. The missing boat is owned by Carlos Libert of Detroit, and is an old timer, carrying a crew of 6 men.
