A dispatch to Capt. E.P. Dorr, 27th, inst. says that the prop. DALHOUSIE was burned on her way up, 10 hours from Kingston. No further particulars.

Port Dalhousie, Sept. 27 - The propeller DALHOUSIE, bound from Kingston to Hamilton, took fire at noon yesterday, ten hours after leaving Kingston, and burned to the waters edge. The crew were all saved. They were picked up by the propeller CITY OF CONCORD and brought to this port this morning.

The prop. DALHOUSIE, Capt. McGrath, bound from Montreal to Chicago with pig iron and merchandise was destroyed by fire Thursday afternoon about 45 miles below the Niagara River. The prop. CITY OF CONCORD, which was in hailing distance when the fire broke out, went to the relief of the unfortunate propeller, and towed her to about 3 miles of the shore when she sank. The crew together with teir effects and some of the bedding were taken aboard of the CONCORD. The DALHOUSIE was owned by the Welland Railway Co., of Canada. - Oswego Advertiser.
