Toronto - The schooner RATHBUN, of Picton, laden with resin and tea, went ashore about half past three yesterday afternoon near the Queens wharf. Information was immediately sent to Mr. Thos. Tinning, who hastened to the assistance of the crew, but upon his arrival he found that they had been safely landed. The vessel is rolling heavily but making very little water, and is likely to be got off with slight damage. The steamer ADVANCE which left here on Saturday morning having a raft in tow, went ashore near Port Union yesterday morning and is a total wreck. Several other vessels were stranded yesterday near the eastern gap, but were got off with very little damage. The steamer ADVANCE was insured for $10,000.
