Schooner RUSSEL DART, 225 tons. Owned Toledo by Lockwood & others. Bound from Toledo to Oswego on November 1872 was lost near Port Maitland, Lake Erie. Total loss. Loss to ship $10,500. Loss to cargo $13,500. Insurance on ship $7,500. Insurance on cargo $8,000.
