A dispatch from Ashtabula Harbor dated June 4, says that the schr. H.A. KENT is ashore east of the piers with 6 feet of water in her hold and lies easily on a sandy bottom. She attempted to make port during the gale Sunday, and a tow line parting she drifted to the eastward into shallow water.
