THE ROGERS ON THE ROCKS.
The schooner ALIDA J. ROGERS went ashore Thursday night (bound down loaded with oats) at Waugoshance Island. The tug BENNETT went to her assistance. Weather fine.
The ROGERS is owned by Captain Graham and others at Sandusky, and measures 340 tons. Her cargo of oats is from Chicago, and is insured at the prevailing cheap rates of cargo insurance. It is likely, however, that by this time she is rescued, and that these particulars are unnecessary.
