Brevities. - An effort is to be made to get off the schooner STAR, ashore at Charlotte. She is insured for $7,300.

The schr. STAR, of Millpoint, Ont. went ashore Wednesday night. Cargo 12,000 bushels of wheat. Vessel and cargo wrecked. Crew taken from the rigging by lifesaving crew.
