Full Text

The schooner JAMES G. WORTS had a cargo of corn, oats and pork, shipped on account of C.J. Magill to Collingwood. She went ashore on Beaver Island, and was reported full of water. The Phoenix Company has a risk of $3,500 on the pork, $2,000 on the oats, and $630 on the corn, and the Lamar and Merchantile Mutual $1,500 each on the oats. The vessel is owned by F. Jackman, of Napanee, Ont., and is but four years old. She is insured in Canadian companies.

If the vessels hold out, that cargo of supplies for Parry Sound will reach there yet this fall. It was shipped forst on the MARY McVEA and was lost with her. It was duplicated on the J. G. WORTS and lost with that vessel, and now the GEORGE L. WRENN will try her lock in delivering it. This is the third time the order has been filled and the supplies shipped - oats, pork, lard, etc. Good luck to the WRENN.

THE RESCUE OF THE J. G. WORTS.
The LEVIATHAN Gets her Up And Off, And Now Has her In Beaver Harbor.
The wrecking steamer LEVIATHAN, which went to the assistance of the schooner J. G. WORTS, ashore on Beaver Island, has succeeded. The LEVIATHAN now has her in beaver Harbor, having got her up and off, and taken her in there. Where she will be towed (as soon as the weather and her condition will permit) is not yet known here. When the LEVIATHAN goes for a vessel she usually gets her.
