Steamer ARROW, July 31, 11 A.M.
We discovered a vessel capsized, six miles East, North East from the West Sister. We steered for the vessel and on close examination, she proved to be a fore-and-aft schr. of about 100 tons. Her hull had been painted white, with green streak on her bulwarks and a black streak around her hull. Her starboard bow and topmast were out of water - could not see whether her yawl was gone from the davits or not, as her stern was under water. No person on or about the vessel. S.F. ATWOOD
Master of Steamboat ARROW.
