The last disaster of the season, up to this writing, was that of the propeller OCONTO, which, on her return from Alpena with lumber, passed through the St. Clair Flats Canal on Thursday last, and immediately on entering Lake St. Clair became icebound and immovable. She remained thus until Saturday afternoon, when she was released by a ferry steamer from Detroit, and arrived there the same evening. Her damages, not yet surveyed, will reach about $200.
