A collision occurred on Tuesday between the schooners JOHN L. GROSS and KOSCIUSKO, which passed up in the same tow. While crossing the Flats the former vessel grounded, and the latter run into her. The JOHN L. GROSS lost her boat and had part of her top sail carried away, but was able to proceed on her voyage. The KOSCIUSKO lost her bowsprit, head sail and part of her head gear, and was obliged to return to this port.
