OFF AND ON. - The schooner C. NORTH, which has been aground at Point Pelee, was brought up on Thursday noght by the tug OSWEGO, and has gone into drydock. Her damages are estimated at about $400. The light-house keeper reported that he had gone ashore to procure stores for the night there was no light. The schooner CONVOY is aground on the Point, and the OSWEGO has now gone to her assistance. - Detroit Free Press

      THE CONVOY. - The tug OSWEGO worked three days at the schooner CONVOY, ashore on Point Pelee Island, but was unable to move her. She went in light, and is a full three feet out of the water. The tug came up Monday night, and it was thought would return again. It may be necessary to place lighters under the schooner and lift her off bodily.

      THE CONVOY. - The tug JOHN OWEN returned last evening from Point pelee. The captain reports the schooner CONVOY still ashore there. On Tuesday they moved her some twelve feet fore and aft, when the water commenced lowering. At the next rising water it is thought she will be got off. - Detroit Tribune, 16th.

      The tug R.R. ELLIOTT returned from Point au Pelee Island this morning, and reports the schooner CONVOY moved 15 feet further. She left again with the RED ERIC in the evening, and the combined efforts of both boats, it is thought will be successful in getting the schooner afloat. - Detroit Advertiser, 20th.

      The schooner CONVOY has at last been got off and arrived here at a late hour this evening, in tow of the R.R. ELLIOTT. We were unable to learn at that hour the extent of damage or any particulars. - Detroit Free Press.
