MOVEMENTS OF THE LAKE - ATLANTIC FLEET. - The C.H. WALKER reached Quebec on the 3d, and has left that port ere this.
We learn that the GRAND TURK, GOLD HUNTER, DESHLER and DOUSMAN, met with some trouble near one of the rapids of the St. Lawrence, owing apparently to the want of prudence of the government employees in the towing service. They were all injudiciously placed in one tow, together with the DOUSMAN, and a storm coming on the tug let go. The GOLD HUNTER lost an amchor cable, and had her boat stove. The GRAND TURK and DESHLER each lost an anchor.
The above named vessels have all left Quebec. The brig CAROLINE left on Friday week. The St. HELENA has arrived there ere this. The CHIEFTAIN has passed the Welland Canal. The HUGH BARCLAY is completing her cargo on the Sydenham (Bear Creek) and will probably be at Detroit tomorrow. The BLACK HAWK is loading at Sarnia, and will clear next week.
