Three miles from Racine, says the Chicago Tribune, the schooner SIRIUS went ashore on Monday night, with a cargo of wheat and the loss of one of her crew. She cleared hence for Buffalo on Saturday, with a cargo as above, shipped by Messrs. Walker, Bronson & Co. Her wheat is insured in the Buffalo Mutual. The schooner is insured in the Northwestern.

SCHOONER SIRIUS. -- The Racine Journal reports everything above decks on this vessel a complete wreck. Her sails and spars are nearly all gone, and everything moveable carried away. The captain thinks her hull is not much injured, and that the cargo is not wet excepting as the water worked through the cabin and forecastle into the hold. She lies in an easy position, and when the gale subsides, will probably be almost entirely out of the water. The captain says he has doubled Cape Horn and the Cape of Good Hope, and been on the water ever since he was a boy, but never experienced so wild a night as that of Monday.
