EFFECTS OF THE GALE. - A despatch from Dunville, yesterday, says that the brig HELFENSTEIN, Schooner H.E. MUSSEY, NORTH STAR, and another, name unknown, are ashore outside of Grand River. The schooners HUNTRESS, MERRIMAC, LOUISA, VELOCITY, AYRE, and brig OCEAN, are ashore in the river. The VELOCITY has lost her bowsprit, etc. The schooner ALMA, on Gull Island Reef, disappeared on Tuesday night, and is supposed to have gone to pieces.
