Mingoe (Schooner), U92508, aground, 2 Jul 1905
- Full Text
John Weisbeck added further laurels to his record yesterday when he released the barge MINGO, which ran on the head of Strawberry Island. After lightering about 150,000 feet of lumber, he fastened to the MINGO with the tugs MASON and TONAWANDA, and in just an hour the MINGO was afloat. Close examination failed to discover the slightest damage to her.
