THE GEORGE HAND ON THE ROCKS.
Marquette, Aug. 11. - Capt. Morley of the W.H. STEVENS, which called here today on her way down, reported the tug GEORGE HAND as on the rocks at Rock Harbor, Isle Royale. She has been abandoned by her crew, whose whereabouts is not known. The lighthouse keeper there has visited her and found her lying on one side and filled with water. A small lighter was alongside.
