Description
Full Text

Early yesterday morning, during a dense fog, the tow of the tug CHAMPION grounded in St. Clair River just above the Flats. The vessels were the LIZZIE A. LAW, L.A. BURTON, and M.L. HIGGIE, all grain vessels. The CHAMPION succeeded in releasing them all in the afternoon. The HIGGIE had three of her timber heads pulled out. The barge MISSOURI also grounded about the same place and time.
