About 3:00, yesterday morning the scow schr. MOUNTAINEER, Capt. Dimmick, loaded with lumber, was driven upon the beach, just above the old lighthouse. Crew safe. The schr. ESSEX, from the lower lakes, came in about 10:30, having her mainsail much shattered, and lost her small boats.
