STEAMER DONALDSON NOT RELEASED.
The steamer JOHN A. DONALDSON, which went ashore while going up Little Rapids Cut, below Sault Ste. Marie last night, has not been released and it may be some time before she gets off, as the only lighter in that section is busy. The DONALDSON was driven on a pile of rocks because of damage to her wheel. She is out about two feet forward and her bottom is badly damaged. A large part of the cargo of coal will be lightered.
