WRECKING STRANDED STEAMER.
Work has been commenced by the Donnelly Wrecking Co. of Kingston in removing the steamer JOHN S. THOM from the rocks which she ran upon in a fog Wednesday, between Waddington and Morrisburg. She is six feet out of water. She had just unloaded a cargo of pulp wood at Waddington and was running light to Sodus where she was to load with coal when the accident happened. The steamer is insured in the London Lloyds.
