Description
Full Text

A dispatch from Port Burwell, yesterday says: The prop. MISSOURI was bound down from Detroit with a general cargo and was drawing 11 ft. of water. In trying to make the harbor of Port Burwell, in the gale of Monday, she struck on the bar and was driven ashore. She was scuttles to prevent pounding in the heavy sea, and she now rests in an easy position. The vessel is not much damaged and will be got off without great difficulty, but her cargo will prove a total loss.
