SCHOONER ASHORE.
      Por Dover, Oct. 29. - The schooner RISING STAR, wheat laden, from Chicago to Buffalo, is ashore at Long Point. The crew were saved.

      An expedition has gone from Buffalo to rescue the schooner RISING STAR, ashore east of the cut at Long Point.

American schooner RISING STAR, bound from Chicago to Oswego, by an error of judgment vessel stranded at the Old Cut, near Port Rowan. A partial loss. No date of casualty is given.
