Description
Full Text

The pleasure stm. CHICAGO BELLE, which last evening conveyed a large party down the river on a moonlight excursion unfortunately ran ashore at Snake Island, near the head of Grand Island, and continued fast aground all night. The excursionists were obliged to remain upon the boat till this morning, when they were brought back to the city by the tug L.P. DAYTON, which then returned and at last account was hard at work trying to extricate the BELLE from her predicament.
