      Oswego, May 31 - The Candian stm. JOHN MILNE, light from Kingston to Sodus Pt., went ashore in the dense fog yesterday morning 9 miles west of Oswego. She was released a few hours later by the tug FERRIS and apparently, is not damaged. She resumed her voyage with her own steam.
