MARINE DISASTERS AT MUSKEGON. - The new scow MINNIE CORLETT, during the gale on Tuesday last, attempted to reach the harbor, but missed the piers and ran ashore. She is loaded with provisions, and lies south of the harbor.
About noon the schooner MONSOON struck the south harbor pier and was carried upon the beach, high and dry. She lost her head gear in the collision with the pier.
The schooner FORFAR ran to the leeward of the piers and got into the breakers, where she pounded heavily for several minutes, when, fortunately, her sails filled, her head was swung about and she got to sea again and made Grand River all right.
The schooner GIPSEY struck the south pier in coming in, breaking her rail and some stanchions, and tearing her mainsail into ribbons.
The old schooner GILBERT KNAPP, went against the pier, but got in all right. -- Milwaukee Sentinel, 5th.
