Louis Herst (Hurst) was my Great-Great Grandfather. His daughter Helena, my Great-Grandmother used to tell the story of his drowning as I grew up in Tonawanda, NY. With the help of ancestry.com, I've just gained additional information about his life and have learned where he is buried.
