Kingston, Ont., Sept. 12. - The Canadian schooner ALBACORE was driven ashore at 7 o'clock this morning east of the life-saving station. The crew were saved by Capt. The wind was blowing a gale from the west and shipping on Lake Onrtario is in serious peril.
The wrecked ALBACORE was valued at $5,000. She was built in 1872, measured 327 tons and was owned by Capt. Bradshaw of Toronto.

Of the two schooners stranded at and near Oswego, the ALBACORE is sure to be released. The Hull of the T. R. MERRITT is punctured, the deck is badly sprung, indicating that the vessel's back may be broken. There is no insurance on either of the schooners.
