While in a fog Saturday, the passenger steamer BON AMI of the White Line stranded on the south shore of Lake Superior, four miles east of Iron River. The weather is calm, but the boat is said to be in bad shape.

      It is reported the passenger steamer BON AMI, stranded on the south shore four miles west of Port Wing, is in bad shape and a wrecking outfit has been sent to her. The boat is on rock bottom and the water is level with her main deck.

      Whitney Brothers of West Superior have released the propeller BON AMI, which was stranded near the mouth of Iron River last Saturday, and last night the boat was towed to Duluth. She has several large holes in her bottom.

      Steam screw NORTH SHORE.* U. S. No. 3626. Of 98 tons gross; 67 tons net. Built at Saugatuck, Mich., in 1894. Home port, Chicago, Ill. 114.0 x 21.8 x 6.4 and a crew of 10. Of 230 indicated horse power. Passenger service.
      * Former steam screw BON AMI.
