The officers of the stm. JAY COOKE report the schr. LAKESIDE ashore on Starve Island Reef, on the south passage on Lake Erie, laden with lumber and staves.

The vessel LAKE SIDE, reported asore on Starve Island reef, south passage, was on Monday reported off, without damage. A considerable quantity of her cargo was lightered, when she was released without much difficulty.
