Oneida (Schooner), Capsized, 20 Sep 1843

Description
Full Text

Capsized.--The schooner, ONEIDA, capsized in a squall on Tuesday morning, last. The wind was light, and she had up considerable sail, when a fresh gust of wind came up and she rolled over very handsomely, doing no injury to anyone on board. One of her hands was up at the mast head, but got out of the scrape by being soused, about waist deep in water.-- Toledo Blade
