Full Text

A telegram yesterday afternoon announced that the schr. C.K. NIMS was ashore at the head of Beaver Island, on soft bottom and not leaking. The vessel and cargo (coal) are insured. The NIMS is owned by Donaldson Bros., of this city, and valued at $30,000. It is probable that assistance will go to her from Duncan City.
