STEAMER IN DANGER.
The steamer CITY OF LONDON, bound from Buffalo to Chicago with coal, which ran aground on the southerly end of False Presque Isle, Thunder Bay, Lake Huron, about 11 o'clock Friday night, is reported as being three feet out forward and is in great danger from a southeast wind. The tug BOYNTON and lighter RELIANCE have been dispatched to her assistance from Sault Ste. Marie. The CITY OF LONDON is a wooden vessel, owned by William Anderson of Chicago.
