Sault Ste. Marie, May 22 - The schr. TASMANIA, bound down, struck at the Encampment. She has 6 ft. of water in the hold. Tug, lighter and steam pump have gone to her.

      Am extra steam pump was placed on the barge TASMANIA at Alpena Tuesday. The barge ran aground in the Sault Passage a few days ago and damaged her bottom badly.
