A northeaster has used up the schooner J.R. PELTON, ashore near Lorain, O., to such an extent that she is regarded as not worth recovering. The PELTON was built at Vermillion in 1866. She measures 122 tons net, rates B 1-1/2 and has an evaluation of $1,500.
