Cleveland, Nov. 13. -- Telegrams were received by Capt. Thomas Wilson this noon thating that the steamer WALLULA is ashore at Conneaut and in bad condition. She is rolling very hard, and it is thought cannot last long unless she settles upon the bottom. The WALLULA went ashore last night while trying to make the harbor. She was scuttled, but evidently has not entirely filled. The vessel is insured for $70,000, placed with C.A. McDonald & Co. of Chicago. The WALLULA has a cargo of iron ore on board.
Ashtabula Harbor, Nov. 13. -- The steamer WALLULA is ashore east of the piers at Conneaut. Her crew were taken off by a tug. She is now on fire and will probably be a total loss. Wind blowing a gale from the north west.

STEAMER WALLULA BURNED.
Went Ashore at Conneaut Yesterday and Caught Fire - Burned to the Water's Edge.
Cleveland, Nov. 14. - The steamer WALLULA, owned by Captain Thomas Wilson of this city, missed the pier at Conneaut yesterday morning while attempting to make that port in the big storm and went ashore. The crew were taken off with much difficulty. The steamer is pounding on the beach heavily and will be a total loss. She is insured for $70,000 and is valued at $90,000. Soon after the crew was taken off the vessel in some manner caught fire and was burned to the water's edge.

Cleveland, November 27. -- The steamer WALLULA was placed in dry-dock today and she is a hard looking wreck. The survey will probably be held tomorrow. Capt. James Davidson, of Bay City, will represent the underwriters and C.E. Benham the owners.
