The U. S. Revenue Cutter is rendering service up the lake. The schooner ESSEX of Oswego, was ashore last week on a reef off the north part of Put-in-Bay, but was finally got off through the efficient aid of Capt. Knapp and his crew. We also learn from Capt. Hand, of the schooner KINGHAM, that he was ashore at the mouth of Sandusky Bay for several hours on Wednesday last, but finally succeeded in getting off through the assistance of Lieu. Ottinger and his crew, who very promptly came to his aid.
