The following more particular account of the late wrecks on Lake Ontario is taken from the Sacket's Harbor Gazette: -
      The schooner LEVANTIA, with a cargo of about 300 bbls salt, was lost at Little Sodus, and the schooner PHOENIX at the Four Mile Creek, in ballast, a few days befor the gale.

      Sacket's Harbor, November 17.
On Saturday evening, the 11th.inst. a gale of wind commenced from the N.E. accompanied with snow, which increased during Sunday to a degree exceeding anything before known on lake ontario. On Monday morning the 13th. the gale abated and we already learn the following wrecks:-
The schooner LEVANIA, with a cargo of about 300 barrels of salt, was lost on Little Sodus, and the schooner PHOENIX at Four Mile Creek, in ballast, a few days before the gale. In fact the season has been the most severe and disasterous ever known.
