SCHOONER "ROUNDS" ON REEF. -- Alpena, May 3. -- The schooner W.H. ROUNDS went on the reef early today in a big sea. The schooner is exposed to the full force of the sea and may be a total loss. The crew have been taken from the wreck in safety.

THE "ROUNDS" IN BAD WAY. -- Alpena, May 4. -- The schooner W.H. ROUNDS, which stranded at Black River Monday, is in bad shape and will probably be a total loss, including her cargo of coal. The southeast gale last night and today has played havoc with the boat.
