The schooner ISHPEMING which went ashore Saturday night north of Sturgeon Point light was stripped and abandoned on Tuesday. The crew were taken ashore to Alpena by the tug RALPH. The ISHPEMING was built in 1872 and owned by Hiram Henderson of Cleveland. She will be a total loss.
