Capt. D.P. Dobbins yesterday received the following dispatch from William Fish, keeper of the life-saving station at Big Sandy creek, Lake Ontario: "The schr. NELLIE TERESA was driven ashore last night near Stony Pt. light. We rescued the crew with the breeches buoy. The vessel is a total wreck.

The new Canadian wrecking company have received thier first work, and Capt. Donnellly, wrecking master has left for Sandy Creek to arrange for hauling off the schr. NELLIE TERESA, ashore near there.

The schr. NELLIE THERESA, which went ashore on Lake Ontario near Bay Sandy Creek, is said to being lying easy, and to be very little damaged.

Work will not be commenced on the schr. NELLIE TERESA, which is ashore at Sandy Beach, Lake Ontario, with coal from Oswego until the wind comes from the souteast, as the water for 500 ft. around the vessel is only from 1 to 4 ft. deep., and a channel will have to be dug to the vessel before she can be hauled off.
