The Free Press correspondent at Port Austin writes, June 6: The wrecking tug MONITOR yesterday succeeded in placing the balance of the machinery of the tug S.P. KIRBY on the dock. The boiler was raised last fall by the MONITOR, when a storm drove her away. The KIRBY belonged to Ayres & Co., of this place, and went to the bottom about three years ago.
