Erie (Barge), aground, 27 Oct 1878

John Scott, the man who was on board the scow ERIE, which broke from the tow of the tug HALL Sunday night, and went ashore at Hamburg, reached shore safely and arrived in Buffalo Monday night, having walked the entire distance, twelve miles.
